Rev. Dr. Katurah Jenkins-Hall, Executive Pastor
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Rev. Dr. Katurah Jenkins-Hall was the first African-American female to receive her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of South Florida (USF) in 1984. Dr. Jenkins-Hall has been employed as a professor at USF and has served the Bay Area as a licensed Clinical Psychologist for the past 27 years.
In 2004, she accepted her call to ministry and returned to seminary, completing a Masters degree in Christian Education and Church Leadership with honors at Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas TX in 2009. Shortly thereafter, she was licensed by Rev. Dr. Arthur T. Jones, Bible-Based Fellowship Church, Tampa, FL.
Dr. Jenkins-Hall is a grateful and humble servant of God with over 20 years of experience in Ministerial Leadership in such positions as Director of Christian Education, Director of Counseling Ministry, Women’s Pastor, and Director of Ministries. She currently serves as the Executive Pastor-Elect at New Dawn Restoration Center, where she assists the Senior Pastor in executing the vision and equipping the saints for the work of the ministry. She was ordained as an Elder on June 30, 2011 by Bishop David M. Copeland and received pastoral installation on June 9, 2013 by Reverend Dr. Julia M. McMillan, Senior Pastor.
Dr. Jenkins-Hall is the proud CEO of G.R.A.C.E, Greater Reach Alliance of Christian Counselors and Educators. Of her many blessings, she is most passionate about being the mother of two sons, Jeremy, age 21 and Bradley, age 23.
